Rules and Precepts that are Preserved in the College at Cambridge in Massachusetts Bay which is now Harvard: “Let every student be plainly instructed and earnestly pressed to consider well that the main end of his life and studies is: To know God and Jesus Christ which is eternal life. John 17:3 and therefore to lay in the bottom as the only foundation of all sound knowledge and learning and seeing the Lord only gives wisdom let everyone seriously set himself by prayer in secret to seek it of Him.

Proverbs 23:45 “If you cry after knowledge and seek it as silver then you will find the knowledge of God. Harvard College was founded on Christ and later dedicated “Christ Ecclesiastic” --- The founders of Harvard believed that all knowledge without Christ is vain. --- The Charters of Yale University clearly expressed the purpose for which that university is founded. ---
