The requirement to be a Natural Born citizen of the United States only applies to someone running for the Office of President and Vice President of the United States.. It does not apply to a Senator or a Congressman or to Supreme Court Justices, but it can be construed to apply to anyone in the line of succession for the Office of President such as the Speaker of the House and the President Pro Tempore of the Senate.
